BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. — Law enforcement vessels are searching Allatoona Lake for a missing man.
Game wardens and Bartow County Fire/Rescue responded this afternoon to the possible drowning in the Glade Marina area.
In a Sunday evening update, a spokesperson for the Georgia DNR identified the man as a 27-year-old who “exited off the back of a ski boat, went under and did not resurface.”
The search began immediately, and will continue tonight.
Vessels are searching with boat-mounted SONAR, and additional equipment and personnel have been brought in.
