Search crews recovered the body of a drowning victim at Allatoona Lake Monday afternoon.
Crews in an underwater vehicle used scan sonar to find the body of Gerardo Soto Jr., 22, of Chicago at Red Top Mountain Beach in Cartersville.
Investigators say he disappeared after swimming in the area Sunday.

Bartow County Emergency Management Systems, Bartow County Fire Department, and the Department of Natural Resources worked together to find him.
