A truck plowed into the home’s dining room early in the morning the week before Christmas and then plowed into a car parked outside in the home’s driveway.

TRENDING STORIES:

Fernandes talked to Oterria Bridges, who lives at the home and thinks that someone slammed into the house intentionally.

“It was like, a really scary moment in time,” Oterria said.

Oterria said she and her four kids have lived in the home for a year with no issues. But a week before Christmas, she had a couple of friends over. At 4 a.m., some driver came crashing through her dining room.

The first thing Oterria and her friends heard was the sound of tires screeching.

“The next thing you know, I’m hearing the rev of the engine,” Oterria said.

Oterria said that at first, she assumed it was someone doing donuts in the streets.

“But I’m not thinking it was coming like... They were trying to come into my driveway,” Oterria said.

After the crash, the driver backed up and took off. Oterria noticed that the hit-and-run driver also hit her friend’s car.

She thinks that someone crashed into her home on purpose and that it wasn’t a drunk driver.

“A drunk driver wouldn’t hit this car when they tried to come in. Probably would have hit the pole or something,” Oterria said. “I really want to know who did this, because it’s not fair to me, her, or anybody else that was in this house because what if someone was standing right in front of that window?”

Police told Fernandes they are investigating the crash as a hit-and-run. Oterria said she talked to police about the possibility of it being intentional because of the way the driveway sits at a weird angle.

Anyone who knows anything about the accident is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
