ATLANTA — A 20-year-old man is recovering after he was shot during what Atlanta police say began as a road-rage incident early Saturday morning.

Officers were called to Jesse Hill Jr. Drive SE around 3:25 a.m. after reports of a person shot.
Police said the victim was a passenger in a vehicle that was hit by gunfire. Officers found him suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital by private vehicle and is currently stable, according to police. His identity was not released.
APD said the incident stemmed from a road-rage incident. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing. Police have not released information about a possible suspect or whether anyone has been arrested.
