Atlanta Department of Transportation officials announced that a portion of West Marietta Street would be closed for several days.
Work crews will be on Marietta Street NW at Marietta Boulevard for resurfacing work.
As a result, ATLDOT will have roads closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.

These closures will remain in effect until the work is complete, according to officials.
During construction, one travel lane will be closed, temporarily, to accommodate the resurfacing. Lanes will shift but remain open.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the slow down by using Marietta Road NW and Johnson Road NW.
ATLDOT said officers and flaggers will also be there to assist with traffic control.
