ATLANTA — Police are investigating a deadly shooting in northwest Atlanta.
Police said they responded to a call of a person shot around 9 p.m. in the 600 block of Oliver Street.
A man in his 50s was shot. He was taken to Grady Hospital where he died.
Police said an argument between the man and a woman in the home escalated.
The woman has been detained by police.
Police said there were several children in the home at the time of the shooting.
Authorities are working to figure out what the argument was about.
