ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating a deadly shooting on Sunday afternoon.
Officers were called to Cushman Circle just before 1:45 p.m. for a person shot. When they got there, they were told the victim had been taken to the hospital by a woman.
Shortly after, officers were called to Pryor Road near University Avenue near JJ’s Fish and Chicken.

There, they found a man who had been shot and killed. His name has not been released.
Investigators say the victims in those incidents were the same person. They believe he was shot in the Cushman Circle area and driven to Pryor Road, where he was pronounced dead.
Police have not commented on what led up to the shooting or possible suspects.
