ATLANTA — Atlanta police are searching for an unidentified shooter they say claimed one person’s life Sunday night.
Homicide investigators say two people driving along Forrest Park Road late Sunday night pulled up next to a person walking on the street and began talking to them.

At some point during the interaction, the person outside the car began shooting into the car, striking the passenger.
The car sped off down Forrest Park Road before flagging down an ambulance responding to the area.
The pair was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where the passenger died from their injuries.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released. Investigators say a description of the shooter is not available at this time.
