ATLANTA — Georgia’s Own Credit Union is celebrating Black History Month in a major way!

On Wednesday, the company put a 450-foot high mural on its building on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta.

The original artwork feature the faces of civil rights icons Madam C.J. Walker and John Wesley Dobbs, along with two Black children representing the future.

The artistry was commissioned by C. Flux Sing, a local artist who wanted to put a spotlight on prominent Black figures.
The mural titled “Handle With Care” will be on display through Feb. 4.
