ATLANTA — Atlanta police said a man is in the hospital after he was shot while driving on Interstate 20 early Friday.
The victim told officers he had been at Magic City nightclub when some sort of fight broke out. He said he left the club and was driving on I-20 near H.E. Holmes when his car was hit by gunfire.
The man, injured by the shooting, pulled over by Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard and called police. He was taken to the hospital and listed as stable.

Police are investigating the incident and are searching the the shooters.
There have been more than a dozen highway shootings in Atlanta in 2021. The shootings have happened on I-20, I-85, Ga. 400 and I-285.
Police said in a recent news conference that none of the incidents are related, and that most stemmed from some sort of road rage incident.
Only a hand full of arrests have been made.
