ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. — A man was arrested and charged with two counts of child molestation following an incident at Coast Guard Beach on St. Simons Island.
Glynn County Police Department officers took William Walter Frick into custody on Sunday after two children reported that an adult male had exposed himself to them on the beach.

Officers were conducting beach patrol operations on St. Simons Island when someone approached an officer regarding suspicious activity involving a man and a child.
During the investigation, officers received information involving two children, ages 8 and 9, who reported the exposure incident.
Police officers located the suspect as he was leaving the beach area and identified him as Frick.
Officers took Frick into custody following the initial investigation at the scene.

Detectives with the Glynn County Police Department continued the investigation, which included conducting forensic interviews of the children.
Frick was subsequently charged with two counts of child molestation.

The Glynn County Police Department stated the investigation remains active and that additional charges may be forthcoming.
