ATLANTA — A popular clothing brand’s store in West Midtown Atlanta is permanently closed.
Lululemon, the athleisure company, closed its Howell Mill Road store location.
In a statement shared with Channel 2 Action News, the company said the decision came “after thoughtful consideration.”
The company said the closure was effective on Saturday.
A Channel 2 Action News photographer went to the store, where a lock is on the door along with a sign telling customers to go to one of their other locations.

On the door sign, little information was available, only the message encouraging customers to go to the brand’s Ponce de Leon Avenue location instead.
A second sign spotted at the store said that it would still be open for deliveries and pickups on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
It was unclear if the store would be open with limited hours for additional pickups and deliveries.
As far as why close that location, the company said “We regularly evaluate our portfolio of stores and continue to adapt to best meet the needs of our guests around the world. We’ve loved being part of this community and look forward to continuing to connect with our guests at our stores nearby.”
