ATLANTA — If you’re looking for a seasonal job ahead of the holidays, Target is hiring thousands of workers across the Atlanta area.

The retailer plans to add 2,300 seasonal team members at its Atlanta-area stores as it prepares for increased demand during the holiday shopping season.
Seasonal positions will pay between $15 and $24 an hour, depending on the role and location.
Target says seasonal employees also receive access to benefits from day one, including early pay access, backup childcare services, a 10% employee discount and additional discounts on select wellness items and adult-owned-brand apparel and accessories.
Workers will also have access to 24/7 virtual health care and mental health support, along with opportunities to learn new skills and gain work experience.

And for those hoping to turn a holiday job into something more permanent, there could be an opportunity to stay on after the season.
More than half of Target’s seasonal store team members from last year continued working with the company after the holidays, according to the retailer.
