ATLANTA — Severe thunderstorm warnings are popping up in metro Atlanta Thursday night.
A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Douglas, Paulding, and Cobb counties until 11:30 p.m.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz is tracking the storms RIGHT NOW on Channel 2 Action News.
Temperatures are expected to be back up in the mid-to-high 90s on Friday.
What you need to know for Friday:
- Morning will start out clear and dry.
- Another round of storms and showers will develop with the heat of the day.
- The storms will move through the metro down to the south throughout the mid-afternoon.
