The eWIC card will work similar to a debit card and can be used at every WIC-approved location to purchase products that are on the approved WIC list.
The card will be available for recipients at their next appointment after Oct. 23, 2022.
The department asks that participants continue to use the paper voucher until the eWic card is received.
