ATLANTA — Atlanta police gave the all clear Tuesday afternoon after a bomb squad was deployed to investigate a suspicious package.
Police said they were investigating reports of a suspicious suitcase.
The bomb squad was able to determine that the package was empty and didn’t contain any hazardous materials.
APD’s Bomb Squad was able to confirm that the package was empty, containing no hazardous materials..
News Chopper 2 was over the scene near the True Food Kitchen restaurant, where there were multiple law enforcement vehicles, including a bomb squad truck.
The scene has since been cleared.
