ATLANTA — A shooting investigation is underway at 852 and 847 Ralph David Abernathy Road on Friday afternoon after two people were wounded by gunfire, Atlanta police said.

Police told Channel 2’s Michael Seiden it was just after 4 p.m. when an argument involving four men escalated into gunfire.
Police say both sides started shooting and when the gunfire stopped, two people had been hit.
Both victims were conscious and police say their injuries are not life-threatening.
One of the men hit by gunfire was using his phone as paramedics took him away.
Right now, investigators are reviewing surveillance video as they work to identify the shooters.
This all happened just down the street from APD’s Zone 4 precinct, so officers were able to get to the scene quickly and secure it.
Investigators say the initial argument started on the corner next to the Krispy Kreme.
Police are going from business to business along Ralph David Abernathy looking for surveillance video that may show them exactly how this started and who fired the shots.
No arrests have been announced in connection with the case.
