ATLANTA — Atlanta fire crews arrived at the Harvest Oak apartments on Delmar Lane just after 3 a.m. to find a building fully engulfed in flames. Several crews were dispatched to fight the early-morning blaze.
The fire was so intense that it collapsed the roof on the 12-unit building.
All of the families in this building were displaced. Luckily, no one was reported injured in the blaze.
The Red Cross Disaster Action Team was dispatched to assist with the needs of the families now without homes.
Ten families were present and were provided with emergency needs like lodging, food, clothing and personal-care items.
