ATLANTA — A tour bus fire caused extensive delays on Interstate 285 in north Fulton County on Wednesday.
Georgia DOT cameras showed flames shooting from the bus parked in the right lane of the interstate between Powers Ferry Road and Interstate 75.
Firefighters put out the flames but delays stretched back to I-75, causing major gridlock as students returned to class in Atlanta and Cobb counties.
The charter bus had no passengers on board, according to police. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
