Atlanta groundskeeper wins $400K in lotto scratch-off

An Atlanta groundskeeper hauled away a hefty prize from the Georgia Lottery.

Lavoris Harris, 30, played the new instant game Lucky Streak and won a $400,000 top prize.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Sugar Hill Chevron Food Mart on 4725 Nelson Brogdon Boulevard in Sugar Hill.

“I looked, and I couldn’t believe it,” Harris recalled. “I really didn’t freak out. I was calm, and that surprised me.”

Harris said he planned on using the jackpot to purchase a home and a new car for himself.
