ATLANTA — The Atlanta Dream will play Game 3 and Game 4 of the WNBA Finals games at State Farm Arena, league sources told Channel 2 sports director Zach Klein.
The Dream later confirmed the move with a statement released Tuesday afternoon.
The Dream worked with State Farm Arena, the Atlanta Hawks, Golden State Valkyries, WNBA and NBA to rearrange the schedule. The original plan was to host the games at Gateway Center before all sides came together.
Game 3 will now be played on Wednesday, Oct. 21 instead of Thursday, Oct. 22 due to the Sombr concert. Game 4 will be still held on Saturday, but at 1 p.m. sources said.
After Game 4, the Hawks will play their 2026 home opener against the Houston Rockets at 8:30 p.m.
Atlanta plays Golden State Valkyries in its first final appearance since 2013. It’s a best-of-7 series. Game 1 and Game 2 will be at the Chase Center on Saturday, Oct. 17 and Monday, Oct. 19.
