He says Friday after school, he was holding the door to the locker room area for someone carrying equipment when he says an assistant coach, who’s also his teacher.
The coach confronted him, cursing and telling him to leave. But he said he needed to get his bag first.
“I was just mind blown by his aggressiveness, like he’s a grown a man, and I’m a kid,” Cadyn said.
He says he tried to walk away.
“I’m calling my dad, but he doesn’t know I’m calling my dad,” Cadyn said.
His dad drove up to the school right away.
His mother said they allowed her to watch the video.
“They allowed me to watch the film in the school, and I saw exactly what happened to my son, and on my worst day, I wouldn’t want that to happen to anyone else’s child,” she said.
But she says getting information from the school has been hard.
The principal did send a letter home to parents.
It says because this is a personnel matter, he can’t share many details about the employee involved or the details of the investigation.
It goes on to say in part, “I want to be clear that inappropriate contact between students and staff will not be tolerated at Parkview High School.”
