Arrests made in William M. Boyd Elementary School break-in

ATLANTA — Three people have been arrested, including one juvenile, after breaking into William M. Boyd Elementary School.
 
Atlanta police responded to a burglary call at 1891 Johnson Road NW and set up a perimeter around the school Sept. 19.
 
When police arrived on the scene, the school detective told police he observed several male suspects on the surveillance cameras inside the school.
 
The description of the suspects includes a black male juvenile wearing red sweatpants and a man wearing a gray hoodie.
 
While holding the perimeter, an officer advised he observed a male juvenile in the northeast corner located in a classroom.
 
Three suspects were arrested and dropped the items they were accused of stealing.
 
Items included notebooks, pens, pencils, candy, Crayola markers, three packs of fake green money and three HP laptop computers.
 
Both adults were transported to Fulton County Jail without injury.
 
The juvenile was transported to Metro Youth Detention Center.
 
This incidence happened days after a cafeteria worker was dragged by thieves and nearly shot outside William M Boyd Elementary School.
