Sean Wall, a U.S. Army veteran, was killed Sept. 10 while walking along State Route 362, according to the Georgia State Patrol. Troopers say the driver who hit him left the scene, and other westbound traffic later traveled over his body.

The crash happened around 4:15 a.m., according to GSP.

A fundraiser organized by Sharon Oxford says the 36-year-old father was walking along the highway after experiencing car trouble when he was hit.

Wall leaves behind four children: Mylah, 15; Oaklyn, 8; and two infants, Ashdon, 11 months, and Given, 6 months.

According to the GoFundMe, Wall was a devoted, hands-on father and the primary source of financial support for his children.
