DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — An early morning fire destroyed a DeKalb County apartment complex’s pool clubhouse on Friday.
The fire broke out at the Lakeview Apartments on North Hairston Road. Channel 2’s Steve Gehlbach first took you to the scene of the breaking news on Channel 2 Action News This Morning starting at 4:30 a.m.
Multiple fire trucks went to the scene and quickly put out the fire. The flames were so high at one point that they reached above the tree line.
Thankfully, the fire didn’t spread to any other buildings and no one was hurt.
