AP Top 25: Georgia new No. 1 after win over Alabama

ATLANTA — The Dawgs are back on the top of the college football rankings.

Georgia moved up to No. 1 in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 after a close win over Alabama coupled with a Texas loss to Oklahoma. Georgia hosts Auburn next in the “The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry” game this Saturday.
