ATLANTA — We will continue with scattered showers and storms through the evening hours Thursday.
Severe Weather Team 2 is tracking the storms LIVE on Channel 2 Action News.
Locally, some heavy downpours, cloud to ground lightning and potential for strong wind gusts as we head through the evening.
Overnight and into Friday morning, the storms will come to an end. Lows will be in the mid- to upper-60s for most of north Georgia, with Atlanta reaching 70 degrees.
There will be a few isolated showers early in the day Friday and then some scattered showers and a few isolated thunderstorms return as we head into the afternoon and evening.
It will get drier as we get to the weekend.
