ALBANY, Ga. — Albany State University says it is safe for students and employees to return to campus after a bomb threat investigation was completed.
The university canceled all classes and university operations Monday. Athletic events were allowed to resume Monday night after the all clear was given.
Classes will resume as normal on Tuesday.
CNN reports Albany State was one of six historically black colleges and universities that received bomb threats Monday.

Southern University and A&M, Howard University, Bethune-Cookman University, Bowie State University and Delaware State University are also investigating threats made to their campuses.
Earlier this month, Spelman College in Atlanta said it investigated a potential bomb threat in the Manley College Center.
After a thorough search, no devices were found and the building was secured.
