NEW YORK — ABC has suspended “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” indefinitely, starting with Wednesday night’s episode.
The Disney-owned network decided to take the show off the air on behalf of all its local affiliates, including WSB-TV.
On Wednesday night, an encore episode of “Celebrity Family Feud” aired in its place. The network did not comment on what will air in its place moving forward.
The decision was made following comments Kimmel made about Charlie Kirk’s killing on Monday’s episode.
ABC did not immediately indicate if or when the show will return.
