Crews said the flames were so intense that a 3-story apartment building behind the Dairy Queen was in danger of catching on fire too.
Investigators believe the fire started on the roof. Once firefighters doused the flames, it appeared someone was living in the attic.
After an extensive search, crews found no one in the building. No firefighters were hurt.
