3 women, 5-year-old stabbed at Union City apartment complex, police say

UNION CITY, Ga. — Union City police confirmed Tuesday night that multiple people, including a 5-year-old, were stabbed at an apartment complex.

On Tuesday at 9:30 p.m., UCPD was called out to Arcadia Apartments at 5150 Thompson Road in reference to multiple people stabbed.

Officers said when they arrived on the scene they found three women suffering multiple lacerations and stab wounds in multiple areas of their upper and lower torso.

Then, officers found a 5-year-old suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Grady EMS & Union City Fire Department responded to the scene and took the victims to Grady Hospital. A witness shared with Channel 2 Action News video of medics treating one of the victims.

The conditions of the victims are unclear this morning.

UCPD did not say whether there is a suspect in custody. There are no further details at this time.
