Atlanta police said a 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were shot along Oak Drive around 7 p.m. Officers found both teens injured when they arrived, but the shooter was gone.
Investigators went door to door in the neighborhood looking for doorbell camera video that could help identify the person who opened fire.
By Wednesday afternoon, the crime scene tape was gone and the street was quiet, but neighbors said the shooting left them shaken.
One neighbor told Channel 2’s Michael Seiden he and his wife were inside their home when they heard the gunfire and dropped to the floor.

Tammy Greene, who was outside Grady Memorial Hospital Wednesday, said she doesn’t know the victims but couldn’t help thinking about her own teenage children.
“As a mother of teenage kids, that hurts my heart because there’s so much violence going on with kids,” Greene said.
It remains unclear whether the two teens were the intended targets or were caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Police have not identified a suspect.
