2 teens arrested in murder of man trying to sell iPhone

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Police said two Riverdale teens have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 25-year-old Lithonia man who was trying to sell them his iPhone.

Clayton County police said Jevon Nathan Freeman was shot about 6 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 85.

He was trying to sell an iPhone 5 he had listed for sale on Craigslist.

Police said Dent was charged with murder, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, tampering with evidence and furnishing a pistol to a minor.

Police said Terrance Justin Dent, 18, of Riverdale shot Freeman, who died at the scene. Dent reportedly admitted to shooting Freeman, then giving the gun to his 17-year-old friend. The teen was charged with possession of a weapon by a minor.
