NEWTON COUNTY, Ga. — UPDATE: 8/17/2015 -- Newton County Sheriff's Office arrested 19-year-old William Dontrel Winston for the murder of Caylen Gooch. He was charged with felony murder and armed robbery.

The Newton County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a homicide.
The incident occurred the morning of August 11 in the Pebble Brook Subdivision located off of Brown Bridge Road.
Deputies responded to a call of a dead man lying in the street. The victim has been identified as Caylen Gooch,19, a Newton County resident.
The Newton County coroner responded to the scene and Gooch was transported to the GBI Crime Lab. An autopsy will be completed by the Medical Examiner's Office to determine an exact cause and manner of death.
