GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A Snellville teenager is facing nine felony charges, including rape, after police say he held a woman at gunpoint at an ATM and took $1,000 and her car before sunrise Monday.
Gabriel Ginty, 16, faces kidnapping, armed robbery and hijacking charges, along with several others.

Snellville police say the attack started at around 5:30 a.m. at a bank on Scenic Highway. Officers say Ginty forced the woman to withdraw $1,000 before sexually assaulting her and driving away in her car.
The warrants say he held a Glock .40-caliber pistol on her the whole time.
Customers pulling into the same lot Tuesday morning said the crime has them rethinking a routine errand.
“I usually come to the ATM either in the morning when there’s people here,” Kim Cline said. “If I come at night, I’ll bring somebody with me.”
It was still dark when the woman called 911. Officers pulled up cameras across the area to find her car and arrested Ginty following a short foot chase, police said.
A judge denied him bond on two counts, citing danger to a person or the community. Ginty will be tried as an adult in Gwinnett County Superior Court.
Chae Harris said she has always considered herself alert in parking lots.
“I don’t really too much worry about that, but that’s something I should worry about starting now,” Harris said.
Ginty is being held at the Rockdale Regional Youth Detention Center. No booking photo has been released.
He was reported missing in May and was later found safe.
