OCONEE COUNTY, Ga. — A highway in Oconee County is back open after an ambulance crashed, injuring one person inside.
Investigators said the ambulance flipped over after a car turned in front of it on Highway 441 in Bishop. They said the ambulance had its lights and sirens on.
Three people were inside the ambulance at the time of the crash. The ambulance was not transporting patients.
It’s unclear whether charges will be filed against the driver of the car.
