ATLANTA,None — John Bachman joined WSB-TV Channel 2 in June 2007. John anchors Channel 2 Action News at Six and the Channel 2 Action News Nightbeat every weekend. He is also a reporter during the week, and the host of "High Q".
He grew up in a television newsroom with his dad, who's been an anchor for more than 30 years.
John graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota and started following in his dad's footsteps.
He lives in Cobb County with his wife and daughters.
The family likes to spend time on the Silver Comet Trail with their golden retriever.
When not chasing his dog and daughters, he likes to play golf, catch a baseball game, or read a good book.
