According to WGXA, Warner Robins police are searching for the driver who hit the teen as he walked along Kimberly Road near Lakeshore Drive. The driver left the scene and has not been located.
The teen, identified by his family as Aiden Beck, was rushed to a hospital in Macon, where doctors discovered a brain bleed in his frontal lobe, fractured facial bones and a bruised lung, according to a GoFundMe organized by his family.
Beck was sedated and intubated because of the severity of his pain and the care he needed. He was later transferred to Arthur M. Blank Hospital in Atlanta, where he continues to receive treatment, testing and monitoring.
His family said Beck faces a long recovery that will include facial surgeries to repair broken bones, dental work and ongoing brain scans to monitor the bleeding.
“There is still so much uncertainty, but his mom and dad have remained by his side through it all,” loved ones said.

As Beck remains hospitalized, his family is asking for financial support to help cover his medical expenses and household bills while his parents stay by his side.
“No parent should have to sit beside their child’s hospital bed worrying about how they will keep the bills paid,” the family wrote in the fundraiser.
The family said donations will help ease the financial burden as Aiden and his parents navigate the uncertain road ahead.
