ATLANTA — Thousands of Atlanta area residents spent Sunday night cheering on their favorite actors and movies as the 86th Academy Awards winners took center stage.
A few of them did it after dressing the part and walking the red carpet at the Cobb Galleria as the Center for Family Resources hosted an Oscars gala.
The event included a silent auction, some gambling, food and drinks and of course, a viewing of the awards broadcast.
