Dunwoody Day Care Murder Trial Set For Oct.

DUNWOODY, Ga. — The man accused of killing a Dunwoody father will face a trial this fall.

Suspect Hemy Neuman is accused of shooting Rusty Sneiderman outside his son's preschool in November. In a hearing Thursday morning, a judge set a trial date for Oct. 17.

Pre-trial motions will be heard in August. Neuman's attorney said he will ask the court to seal his motions to control publicity.

"That would take away from Mr. Neuman's right to a fair trial. The state feels passionately about that, also, so does the judge," defense attorney Doug Peters said.

Peters also asked the court not to schedule the trial during the Jewish high holidays.
