Police say they were called to 250 Piedmont Road for reports of a loud house party. When they got there, they found two men shot after what they believe was a fight during the party.

Roderick Booker, 28, and 31-year-old Lance McCloud were taken to the hospital. Police said they’re both listed as stable.

Police believe during the fight, someone pulled out a gun and started shooting. While the shooting was going on, they say 22-year-old Hunter Mann grabbed two women at the party and forced them to act as a “human shield” to protect Mann from the bullets.

Police later arrested Mann and charged him aggravated assault and false imprisonment.
