The accident happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of Roswell Road in Buckhead.
"As we were picking up people, we heard a loud noise," said one person who was aboard the bus.
News Chopper 2 flew over the scene, where numerous first responders could be seen trying to remove the victim from under the bus as witnesses looked on.
The victim was loaded onto a stretcher and into an ambulance at about 3:45 p.m. He was then taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
All northbound lanes near the accident scene were closed for a short time as authorities investigated the crash.
None of the roughly 15 passengers aboard the bus complained of injuries.
The motorcyclist was charged with following too closely and driving without a license.
