Cherokee Teacher Accused Of Child Molestation

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — Cherokee County Sheriff's Office officials arrested a middle school teacher Wednesday morning and charged him with child molestation.

Authorities arrested Kyle Campbell, 26, of Jasper, after a week-long investigation.

Campbell is a teacher at Creekland Middle School, police said.

Detectives said they were notified by Cherokee County School Police that they had received an allegation of inappropriate contact between Campbell and a 15-year-old male student.

Campbell was arrested at the school print shop Wednesday morning.

He is being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center without bond.
