Cheerleading Coach Arrested On Charges Of Selling Meth

DALTON, Ga. — The owner and coach of a cheerleading gym was arrested Tuesday after police said he sold methamphetamine out of his office.

Dwight Cook, 27, is the owner of Sideline All-Stars cheerleading gym on Powell Drive in Dalton.

Police said a month-long undercover investigation revealed that Cook sold meth out of the business, which they said was also listed as his residence.

Cook had a meth pipe in his pocket at the time of his arrest and also 11 grams of meth in his office, police said.

He is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and possession of drug paraphernalia.
