Atlanta man wins $1M, electric bills paid on game show

ATLANTA — An Atlanta man is a newly-minted MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB TV game show winner, having won a $1 million prize plus electric bills paid for one year.

Christopher Jackson, 32, was a contestant on the nationally-syndicated TV game show that aired April 10-11.

“Winning is something that I cannot describe in words,” exclaimed Jackson, following his windfall. “It was nothing like I’d ever experienced.”

Jackson was selected to be a part of the studio audience for the TV game show after playing the MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB lottery draw game from the Georgia Lottery.

He was among 250 lottery players from 23 participating states.

“I was screaming and hollering. I was so excited just to get picked,” he said.

The lucky winner won both prizes while on the show.

“I couldn’t hold it. I just ran and slid across the set,” he recalled.

With his winnings, Jackson plans to buy a new car for his mother, purchase a new home, pay off bills and pursue business opportunities.

MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB is a new Georgia Lottery instant game with cash prizes of up to $250,000.

Players can enter non-winning tickets for a second chance to win a trip to Las Vegas and be a contestant on the national TV game show. For more information, visit www.galottery.com.
