DUNWOODY, Ga. — A Regions Bank in Dunwoody was robbed Friday morning.
Channel 2's Mike Petchenik was with Dunwoody police as they were alerted of the incident. The robbery happened at 10:14 a.m.
Police said a man walked in to the bank on Mount Vernon Road, pulled out a weapon and ordered employees to the floor. They said he left with money and fled on foot. There were no customers inside during the robbery.
News Chopper 2 flew over the scene as officers arrived with K-9 units in tow. They searched nearby areas, including the woods.
