GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga.,None — Police in five metro Atlanta counties are asking for help catching a robber with a taste for fast food restaurants.
The man has robbed 20 different Burger King restaurants along with multiple KFC and Taco Bell stores in Gwinnett, DeKalb, Clayton, Fulton and Cobb counties, police said.
Officers showed Channel 2s Kerry Kavanaugh surveillance video of the thief inside a Burger King location in Snellville. Detective Brendon Pix told Kavanaugh the video is the first glimpse police had of the robber because he typically does not remove his mask.
Detectives believe the man committed his first robbery in April in Clayton County and his latest was at a restaurant on Centerville Highway in Snellville. Victims in most cases described a similar man, a similar car and a similar handgun, Pix said.
Police described the robber as a black male who has a muscular build, tattoos on one forearm, a short haircut and wearing diamond earrings. Authorities released a picture of his car on Tuesday, describing it as a two-toned black and gray Buick Regal GS made between 1997 and 2002.

"Most of these (robberies) are morning time. He has hit sometimes before the business closes," Pix told Kavanaugh.
"He'll get the employees at gun point and have them get on the ground and he'll have the manager open the safe for him," he said.
Pix says the robber has taken anywhere from $300 to $1,000 in each robbery. No one has been injured in the robberies, but the man did fire his gun in the air once, according to police.
Burger King has offered a $1,000 reward for information leading the mans arrest and conviction. Police urged anyone with information about the crimes to call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477.
