CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga.,None — Ten people were arrested in a drug bust at a Morrow apartment complex Thursday night.
Police said they had been watching the area before they raided the complex. Undercover detectives began investigating after a tipster said people in an upstairs apartment were involved in illegal activity.
Police Dismantle Drug Operation
"They're all involved in either purchasing or distributing different types of drugs," Clayton County police Capt. Tina Daniel said.
Channel 2's Darryn Moore was at the scene when officers loaded suspects into a police wagon.
Daniel said suspects were cooking cocaine and crack. She showed Channel 2 at least 10 pounds of marijuana that was seized. Police also seized cash, weapons, drugs and several cars.
"Got what we came after," Daniels said.
