Justin Bieber announces two rescheduled concerts in Atlanta

ATLANTA — First, the good news: Justin Bieber is announcing a set of new world tour dates. It seems all the music news of late has been about canceled concerts, not newly scheduled ones. The bad news: the shows aren’t for another year.

Bieber’s tour, originally scheduled for 2020, now kicks off June 2, 2021.

“I can’t wait to get out there and connect with my fans on this tour,” Bieber said in a release. “We’ve been through so much this year. More than ever, we’ve come to understand how much we need each other, and how meaningful these moments can really be.”

The 45-date tour has been rerouted and will no longer stop in stadiums. Kehlani and Jaden Smith, who were originally scheduled to support the tour, will not be appearing. An opener will be announced at a later date.

Bieber’s tour will stop in Atlanta for two nights on July 22-23, 2021, at State Farm Arena. Tickets go on sale Thursday, Aug. 6.

Bieber also announced that $1.00 from each ticket purchased will be donated to the Bieber Foundation which is committed to supporting mental health wellness.
