Downton Abbey: The Exhibition

The exhibit in Sandy Springs is celebrating the holidays in Atlanta, bringing the Crawley family holiday spirit to its halls with stunning Christmas decor, plus a new “Holiday Treat Package.” Visitors can explore the decorated halls of Highclere Castle and memorable sets in Downton Abbey, complete with beautifully dressed Christmas trees, dining room decor befitting for a lavish holiday feast, lights that illuminate the holiday magic and more.

Enjoy a festive 1-hour train ride on the Holiday Express in which you can listen to holiday music, hear the story “The Night Before Christmas,” enjoy delicious hot chocolate or other snacks available for sale inside our concession car. Children will receive a Blue Ridge Scenic Railway jingle bell, candy cane, and activity packet while on board.

Holiday Road Atlanta

You can expect to see larger than life holiday installations, thousands of Christmas lights, Santa, Mrs. Claus, Elves, countless candy canes and all your favorite holiday cheer!Join us this season at Holiday Road for the most wonderful time of the year!

Main Street Christmas Light Extravaganza

Downtown Macon will transform into a merry wonderland with more than 500,000 Christmas lights strung across four blocks of the city’s Main Street. Following the opening concert, free shows will be open to the public nightly through January 2, with performances beginning at the top of each hour from 6 to 10 p.m. After the light show, visitors can stroll through historic Downtown Macon to experience the city’s thriving culinary and retail district. Other seasonal activities will include carriage rides, selfies with Santa and live reindeer, and more.

Stone Mountain Christmas

Come on out and experience Stone Mountain Christmas - where the holidays come to life! Enjoy music, characters, an all-new light show, Santa’s fly over, and plenty of Christmas spirit for families to enjoy!

A Holiday Light Spectacular brings Christmas magic center stage with shows, lights, train rides, holiday neighborhoods, the North Pole, Retro Christmas and more!

Holiday Magic at the World Of Coke

Holiday magic has returned to the World of Coca-Cola. From now until January 7, the attraction is filled with thousands of twinkling lights, larger-than-life decorations, seasonal beverages and festive photo opps. This year, the event is back and brighter than ever before to celebrate 90 years of the classic Coca-Cola Santa. Guests can expect all new seasonal experiences, limited time interactive activations and festive surprises around every corner.

Dahlonega’s Old Fashioned Christmas

Bedecked in thousands of twinkling lights, a show-stopping two-story Christmas tree on the square and the second annual Festival of Trees with 10-12 brightly decorated Christmas trees on display outside in Hancock Park, the town looks and feels like a holiday wonderland. Family-friendly holiday special activities include carriage rides (additional cost), socially-distanced visits with Santa, boutique holiday shopping as Dahlonega’s eclectic selection of merchants offer extended hours and the annual Christmas Market, put on by the Dahlonega Women’s Club, a live nativity, old-time carolers and a holiday show at the historic Holly Theater.

Garden Lights, Holiday Nights

While plenty of the show’s fan-favorite features will return, guests can expect new twists, including a colorful Glowing Grove along the Flower Walk, oversized flowers leading to Ice Goddess and several lighted sculptures from the 2021 summer exhibition SUPERnatural: Glass Art by Jason Gamrath.

Skate on the Square

Throughout the holiday season, The Plaza at Colony Square will be transformed into an ice-skating rink. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 3 to 9 p.m.; Saturday from noon to 10 p.m.; Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.; and on school holidays from noon to 10 p.m. Tickets, which include skates, are $18 per adult and $14 per child (12 & under).

ATL Holiday Lights

ATL Holiday Lights returns to Atlantic Station’s Pinnacle Lot. In partnership with Atlanta Beer and Wine Festival, guests can enjoy twinkling lights and colorful displays to the beat of holiday tunes during the drive-through light show experience.

Skate the Station

Lace up your skates and bundle up because the 10,000-square-foot skating rink, the largest outdoor rink in metro Atlanta, returns this year on Nov. 19. Skate the Station tickets are on sale now for $15 for general admission and $60 for a season pass, and all ticket purchases include skate rentals.

Dec. 1-27

Hollywood Holidays

Holiday lights will also return to Brook Run Park with three times as many lights as last year. From December 1-27, visitors can view the “Hollywood Holidays”-themed display featuring more than 75,000 lights forming decorations inspired by popular holiday movies. The opening festival will take place on Wednesday, December 1, with hot cocoa and appearances by popular holiday characters.

Holiday Light Tour

With the holiday season fast approaching, Cobb EMC’s inaugural Holiday Light Tour is a must-see to kick off December. This month-long event will include a holiday light display at the Cobb EMC Solar Flower Garden and features six homes with incredible holiday light displays that are serviced by the electric cooperative.
